Sathyamangalam Tiger Reserve has got two wildlife divisions; Sathyamangalam and
Hassanur with headquarters at Sathyamangalam and Hassanur respectively and one territorial
division; Erode, with headquarters at Erode. They are headed by Field Director with
headquarters at Erode. The Reserve has 15 territorial Ranges at Sathyamangalam,
Bhavanisagar, Vilamundy, T. N. Palayam, Talamalai, Hasanur, Germalam, Talavady,
Jeerahally, Erode, Anthiyur, Bargur, Chennampatti & Thattakkarai.

Approach details are given in the website. Eco Tourism is yet to begin in the reserve but visitors and nature lovers do visit the Tiger Reserve area since the time it was a Sanctuary. Hassanur itself draws people from foothills because of its hill station weather. Places of visit other than the wilderness areas are Bhavanisagar Dam, Bannari Amman Temple, Perumpallam Dam, Gunderipallam Dam and many other famous temples inside forests which causes disturbance during the festival season inspite of regulations. July to November is the best season to visit. Forest Rest Houses with 2 suites each are available at Sathyamangalam, Kadambur, Talamalai, Hassanur, Chikkalli and Jeerahalli which will be allowed with regulations to public after the Eco-tourism is declared open.
